This week we are celebrating my husband and my 40th wedding aniversary so we are taking a break in the fall images to give you something a little more romantic. Besides that, I think that it is time to move on from the fall themed freebies. Next week we will start on Christmas themed freebies so that you will have time to actually make something with the freebies in time for Christmas giving.

Photobucket has made some changes in their site. The method of downloading has changed. To download the digital stamp without having to register or login follow these steps:

1. Click on the Red Heart image above, it will take you to Photobucket.

2. Click on the small image of the heart (the center is a good place to click) and a larger image will come up.

3. Click on "Options" and a drop down menu will appear.

4. Click on Download, (if you click on "Copy" it will ask you to login).

5. Another dialog box will come up asking if you want to open or save the file. I suggest that you choose "Save as", that way you can choose a location that will be easier to find later.

It has inlinkz to make it easy to link your posts to our Gallery from your blog, Facebook page, shop, Flicker or whatever. October 3rd Floral Fall Flourish Clip Art Freebie

I will number each one of your entries in a response to your post telling me of your entry. The number that I give each post will be entered into the Random.org number generator to choose the winner when we get 200 followers. There is probably an easier way to do this, but this is about a techie as I am at this moment in time.

As I promised in the last post here is today’s freebie, a beautiful floral flourish that is inspired by pen flourishes used by clerks and bookkeepers in the 1800s, named for the elaborate flourishes of pen. Flourishes have become a popular design motif for just about everything. I’m giving you two digital flourishes that I have created, one in black that you can easily recolor in MS Word by following my tutorial (see the top tabs for the tutorial). The second one has a nice fall colored radial gradient. These flourishes PNG files with a transparent background, they are about 4 inches tall at 300 dpi.

If you would like to use the floral flourish to create something to sell you may go to my Etsy shop and purchase the full set. In that set the floral flourish is larger; it is a full 9” tall at 300 dpi. Big enough for use on a tee shirt or tote bag, but easily reduced to a small card sized image.
