DIY Vintage Wedding Invitation

Hi Friends,

Today I would like to share with you the beautiful wedding invitation creation of Rita Hartsock . . .

The  5 ½” 8 ½”  invitations were printed on 110# Neenah Classic natural white cardstock  Each card was hand dry embossed, the edges were inked and then the card was folded in half. The front of the card was overlaid with vellum printed with the Spectacular Printable’s image and a knotted ribbon.

Spectacular Printable’s image was brought into a Word doc; the width and length were adjusted to slightly overlap the wording on the invitation. Rita was able to print two overlays per 8 ½” x 11” vellum sheet.

They are also thinking of using this same motif printed on vellum as bands on jar candles for the reception.

Thanks Rita for sharing your wonderful creations ! You are a wonderful inspiration!
