Freebie for the week of November 4th.

Hi Friends,

I hope and pray that you all have survived Hurricane Sandy unscathed. My heart goes out to those who did not fare so well. We are currently in Tennessee and the weather here has been very pleasant. We will be heading back to Texas on Monday. It will be nice to be home again!

This week’s freebie is a nice Christmas Dove Digi Stamp, perfect for your Christmas cards and decorating. It is a PNG file (transparent background) hosted at Photobucket.

 

Photobucket has made some changes in their site. The method of downloading has changed. To download the digital stamp without having to register or login follow these steps:

 1. Click on the image above, it will take you to Photobucket.
 2. Click on "Options" and a drop down menu will appear.
 3. Click on Download, (if you click on "Copy" it will ask you to login).
 4. Another dialog box will come up asking if you want to open or save the file. I suggest that you choose "Save as", that way you can choose a location that will be easier to find later.

It has inlinkz to make it easy to link your posts to our Gallery from your blog, Facebook page, shop, Flicker or whatever. Please share your creations to inspire others and to get the exposure you deserve. Click here to go to the Gallery or click on the Gallery tab above.

    Thank you! This is a lovely image that I will use on my mom's Christmas cards. It's so hard to find images that aren't Santa and reindeer and she likes more religious type images. She will love this one!

      Your welcome Sally! I'm with your mom on the images for Christmas. I prefer images that reflect what I see as the best aspects of Christmas rather than the materialism of the holiday. Please share your creation with us in our Inspiration Gallery.

    Hey Lyn,

    Great image. Just thought you should know though that when you click on it, it is just opening up in a lightbox. It is not taking us to photobucket. Now if the image is strictly a jpg then it doesn't matter. However, if the image is supposed to be a png then people won't be getting that.

    Lyn~I am also one that prefers something that reflects the meaning of Christmas & not the "materialism". So I thank you from the bottom of my heart for this sweet little dove. My husband & I used the dove for our wedding invitations. :) (Not this one, we were married almost 18 years ago. LOL)
